Dark or Light??

As you can see above, I've posted two pictures of Bamboo flooring. One is dark, and one is light. I really like both! A lot! We are house hunting right now, and most likely will put in hardwood flooring. I want to get some opinions. Let me know what looks better to you.

(FYI, it will be flooring in the living room/kitchen. We like white cabinets with dark countertops and a light color for the walls with white trim. I thought more info may help in your decision making. ;o) )

Ogg and I both like the dark better. But we're dark kinda people...take that however you want to.

I like the dark as well, considering you like white cabinets and light paint color... with the light flooring you might need some darker paint.

DARK! It's more modern and looks more expensive!

My vote goes for DARK. The only problem is that you will probably see every crumb. The light might hide that. What is new anyway Court?

dark - unless the furniture and paint you end up loving are dark too - then you gotta go light.

Hello Court!! Thanks for saying hi! How are things for you? Dark for sure with the room you want! I love dark flooring although it is a pain to keep clean! You see every little thing!

I would go with Dark. Although I must say, you have to consider what you want as wall colors and furniture. The lighter would allows you to go with darker walls and furniture. Trade-offs. CONGRATS on the house!!
