12 Weeks & Counting...

Well, the cats out of the bag. My Eggo's Prego. I'm past that 3 month mark and can finally let the world know (which is probably a really good thing, cuz I don't think my mom is very good at keeping secrets). I'm due March 23rd, 2010... so if you want a future child of yours to have a really good point guard as a teammate, I'd get started on... well... you know... baby making. ;) Our first ultrasound was today and for the first time things started to sink in a bit. The little kiddo was moving and stretching all over the place. Very active little sucker. I haven't been sick at all (don't hate me for that) and haven't felt much difference besides always being hungry (don't hate me for that either) and taking more potty breaks. Matt obviously thinks it's going to be a boy cuz that's what all husbands think, but I think it's going to be a girl. Not because I want a girl... just a gut feeling. But who knows? We'll be stoked with either way!
Here are some fotos from today:

You know it's a Shelby when he/she is mooning people before birth.

The Screen Saver Battle

Working with family can be risky. We all know that family members can push your buttons probably more than anyone else. Yet that's why we love them so much. You can let your guard down and be completely yourself. Sometimes this means expressing our true feelings even if our family member doesn't want to hear it. So how can you stay sane and stable while working with four members of your family?? Office Pranks! Mwaahaaahaaa....(evil laugh attempt). One day, when my brother Tyler was taking a bathroom brake, I made my move. I put a Hannah Montana picture on his screen saver and convinced everyone in sales that he had a total crush on Miley Cyrus. I think they still believe me.

This is him looking frantically for a Kobe replacement pic.

Well, today he got his revenge. Apparently I am now in love with a gay man.

Dear Adam,

I am sorry to say that I am already taken. I don't think it would have worked out anyway, for I am unable to....er....i dunno... fulfill your needs?? :-I Don't worry, I'm sure there is someone out there who will appreciate your black nail polish (by the way, is that a new trend, because I don't think it has been done before?), tight like a tiger jeans, and theatrical antics. There is nothing to worry about. Your fan base is huge, so keep on screamin' man! Keep on screamin'!

Courtney

edit: I realize that those aren't really screen savers, but desktop backgrounds. Whatev. I think desktop background sounds lame so I'm sticking with screen saver. kpeacebye.

Gift Ideas?

This is an email Matt sent to my bro-in-law Joshua for birthday gift ideas. It's sort of comical...so i'm posting it.

Well, here are my thoughts

Concert Tickets
A sweet t-shirt
A volleyball (I got one as a birthday gift one year and you would be surprised at all the amazing things a volleyball can be used for when put in the right hands.)
A Decorative Lamp
A furry steering wheel cover
The Club (steering wheel lock)
A Beebe gun
A wrist rocket
A baseball mitt
Sensual Candles (for the ladies)
Nice flatware
Not really that nice dinnerware
An RC car
Type “Random” into Ebay and pick out something from the results you get there.
A semi-difficult puzzle because if it is too difficult, and you can’t finish a puzzle, you feel pretty stupid, not that that has ever happened to me.
An Adam Morrison Jersey because you can probably get a good deal on one.
A concert poster because it is probably cheaper than tickets and after he stares at it long enough, he will feel as if he was actually there.

Maybe something will spark an idea so use what you want.

Matt
